COME AND GET IT — Originally Composed in 1998 I originally composed “Come and Get It” in 1998 for the rhythm game beatmania. As far as I remember, I produced the track using AKAI equipment and a Roland keyboard, then extracted individual sounds and samples for use in the game. Back then, I was so focused on creating music that as many players as possible could enjoy. I poured everything I had into making music for the game, and somewhere along the way, the original project files were lost. Nearly three decades later, I decided to bring this track back to life. I took the original stereo mix (2-mix) and fed it into an AI music production tool, giving it detailed instructions for the rap vocals, backing vocals, and other musical elements. The result is a modern reimagining of a track I created back in 1998. It’s fascinating to hear how a piece of music from nearly 30 years ago can find a new life through today’s technology.
